- 2 Ciabatta rolls
- 2 ripe tomatoes, sliced
- 200g creamy mozzarella cheese, sliced
- Fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your panini maker or grill pan to medium heat.
- Slice the ciabatta roll lengthwise.
- Place the bottom half of the bread on a clean surface and top it generously with sliced tomatoes.
- Add a layer of creamy mozzarella, overlapping the slices slightly.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
- Drizzle a bit of olive oil over the filling.
- Close the ciabatta and place it in the panini maker or grill pan.
- Cook until the bread is golden and crispy, approximately 5-7 minutes in the panini maker or 3-5 minutes per side in the grill pan.
- Remove the panini carefully, let it cool for a moment, and then slice it diagonally.
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding pesto, arugula, or diced avocados to the filling.
