Description

A delicious and simple Italian pasta dish featuring zucchini and Pecorino Romano cheese, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 400g Spaghetti
  • 2 Zucchini
  • 100g Pecorino Romano
  • Olivenöl
  • Salz
  • Pfeffer
  • Frisches Basilikum
  • Knoblauch (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente.
  2. Slice the zucchini into thin rounds and sauté in olive oil until golden brown (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. Add crushed garlic if using and sauté for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Reserve some cooking water and drain the spaghetti.
  5. Combine the spaghetti with zucchini, adding cooking water gradually to create a creamy sauce.
  6. Mix in grated Pecorino Romano and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves.

Notes

Use fresh vegetables for the best flavor. You can substitute Parmesan for Pecorino if needed.
